The Christian Children’s Home of Ohio

Landscape Solutions President Stephanie Spear and Mid-Ohio Corvette Club President Jim Morrison presented a check to CCHO in the amount of $25,000 in support of their worthy mission. Since its humble beginnings in 1969, the Christian Children’s Home has been bringing healing to hurting children and families in Jesus’ name, by providing services that transform lives, families and communities. The organization was founded by concerned, caring individuals affiliated with the independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ movement who wanted to bring Christ to bear on at-risk children and dysfunctional families.

Landscape Solutions’ Affiliation & Support

At Landscape Solutions, our association with this worthy cause goes back a few years and we are excited for the opportunity to offer continued support. Mid-Ohio Corvette Club began participating in Cruisin’ for the Kids in 2010. During the first two years, more than $13,400 for was raised to benefit CCHO, said Jim Morrison, Mid-Ohio Corvette Club president. Excited for the opportunity to give back, beginning in 2012, Landscape Solutions presented a match challenge for $5,000.

“We were pleased to announce that MOCC succeeded in their match and with their donation achieved and presented CCHO with a total of $14,000 for the event in 2012,” Morrison said. “Landscape Solutions then presented MOCC with a match challenge for 2013 in the amount of $10,000. We embraced their generosity. The Christian Children’s Home of Ohio does wonderful work with challenged children striving to improve their well being through excellence in governance, leadership, stewardship and child advocacy.”
